Death Wishes

Death Wishes serve as one part to Infernum Mode's achievement system, the other being Dev Wishes. They are earned by performing various tasks while Infernum Mode is active. The Recommended Achievement icon located on the top-right of the player's inventory will be replaced by Infernum Death Wishes/Dev Wishes, which also serves as a menu upon click.

Achievement	Conditions & Notes
First Of Many • "The higher the count, the more you've learnt" Die to an Infernum boss	Referred as "BabysFirstAchievement" in the mod's source code. Due to its permadeath nature, Hardcore characters complete this achievement automatically.
Malicious Machinery • "Decommission the Maniacal Mechanical trio in one fell swoop!" Beat Infernum Mecha-Mayhem
Forgotten Sands • "Best the Bereft Vassal in combat, in the far reaches of the desert's dunes" Defeat the Bereft Vassal
Night Knight • "Challenge the Profaned Goddess under the gaze of the stars" Beat Infernum Night Providence	A pun on the phrase "night night."
Rampage • "Best the Devourer at his own game: without a ram!" Beat the Infernum Devourer of Gods without using a ram dash	The shield in the picture is Asgard's Valor, a nod to its dashing capabilities.
Lab Rat • "Become Draedon's favorite test subject" Beat all Infernum Exo Mech combinations	The Exo Mechs must be defeated at least 3 times for every combination. The entity in the image is a Repair Unit.
Baptized By Hellfire • "Complete the final challenge, and earn your reward" Obtain the Infernal Chalice	Successfully complete the Boss Rush event.
Mini-Meany! • "Defeat the various minor threats across the world!" Beat every Infernum Miniboss	There are a total of 14 minibosses to defeat: Giant Clam, Dark Mage, Sand Elemental, Cloud Elemental, Corrupt Mimic, Crimson Mimic, Hallowed Mimic, Ogre, Betsy, Eidolist, Colossal Squid, Eidolon Wyrm, Reaper Shark, and the Nuclear Terror. Both evil biome Mimics must be defeated for this Death Wish.
Infer-it-all! • "Rip and tear, until it is done" Beat every Infernum Boss	There are a total of 47 bosses to defeat: King Slime, Desert Scourge, Eye of Cthulhu, Crabulon, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulhu, The Hive Mind, The Perforators, Queen Bee, Deerclops, Skeletron, The Slime God, Wall of Flesh, Dreadnautilus, Queen Slime, Cryogen, The Twins, Aquatic Scourge, The Destroyer, Brimstone Elemental, Skeletron Prime , The Forgotten Shadow of Calamitas, Plantera, Leviathan and Anahita, Astrum Aureus, Golem, The Plaguebringer Goliath, Duke Fishron, Empress of Light, Ravager, Lunatic Cultist, Bereft Vassal, Astrum Deus, Moon Lord, Profaned Guardians, Dragonfolly, Providence, the Profaned Goddess, Storm Weaver, Ceaseless Void, Signus, Envoy of the Devourer, Polterghast, The Old Duke, The Devourer of Gods, Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth, Primordial Wyrm, Exo Mechs, and Supreme Witch, Calamitas Event bosses and bosses summoned from the Boss Rush event are not counted. Unlike the Slayer of Worlds achievement in vanilla Terraria, both evil biome bosses must be defeated for this Death Wish. Its description is a reference to the video games Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal, though the phrase "Rip and tear" alone originated from the Doom comic.
