The Old Duke is a post-Moon Lord boss that can be fought in the Sulphurous Sea biome. While it is optional, it is recommended to be fought before The Devourer of Gods.
Spawn
The Old Duke can be spawned by finishing the Acid Rain event after Polterghast is defeated, appearing from a giant sulphurous tornado. It can also be summoned by fishing in the Sulphurous Sea with a Bloodworm post Moon Lord, or by using a Bloodworm Platter.

Aftermath
- The Sea King will start selling Bloodworms.
- Sulphurous Crates will contain Reaper Teeth if the Polterghast has also been defeated.

Trivia
- The Old Duke's title card has a 1/500 (0.2%) chance to read "Speed Demon" instead of "Sulphuric Terror". The chance of this occurring is increased to 1/5 (20%) during April Fools.
