The Infernum Mod reworks a bevy of enemies and bosses from both Terraria and the Calamity Mod in hopes of making them offer a unique and substantial challenge for players.
Bosses
Bosses are aggressive, resilient enemies intended to offer a substantial challenge to players. Defeating a boss is usually instrumental in advancing the game in some way or another, such as granting the player a new material for a pickaxe of a higher tier. Each has its own particular way of being summoned. For example, most bosses have associated summoning items that can be used to spawn them manually under certain conditions, while there are others that will appear after the player interacts in a certain way with the environment.
The Infernum Mod reworks every single boss from both Terraria and the Calamity Mod, occasionally revamping their entire aesthetic from the base game. |
Minibosses
Minibosses are rare enemies with substantially more health and unique attacks which offer a greater challenge than most other foes. They have weaker stats than most other bosses, but still cause the boss health bar to appear. |
Enemies
Enemies are characters that attempt to inflict damage on players. Enemies do not take fall damage whatsoever.
The Infernum Mod reworks most of the enemies in the Abyss, giving them special behavior, as well as letting them interact with each other in a food chain hierarchy. |
Critters
Critters are harmless characters that do not interact with the player in any way, except in that they can be killed by both players and enemies. |
