The Slime God is a Pre-Hardmode boss comprised of three parts: The Slime God's core itself, the Crimulan Paladin, and the Ebonian Paladin. While not required for progression, defeating The Slime God provides the player with money and useful items.

Spawn

The Slime God does not spawn on its own, and requires the player to summon it by using an Overloaded Sludge anywhere at any time. Which Paladin appears first depends on the evil of the current world. This will not affect the course of the battle in any way, since both Paladins have the same attacks.
