Dreadnautilus is initially motionless when it spawns in, slowly rising up into the air. It summons a ring of blood and vanishes.

The boss cycles through the following set of attacks in order:

Bloody Tooth Balls

  • The Dreadnautilus turns towards the player and spits out 4 Tooth Balls at them.
  • Each of the Tooth Balls explodes into two homing Teeth.
    • Three barrages of Tooth Balls are fired before the boss moves on to the next attack.

Wandering Eye Fish Summon

  • The Dreadnautilus slows down and looks at the player as its eye gleams red briefly.
  • It then summons a Wandering Eye Fish down from the sky to attack the player.
    • If the Dreadnautilus' Wandering Eye Fish summon animation (indicated by the eye gleam) is interrupted by the player hitting the boss, spurts of blood erupt from its eyeball, and the attack is skipped.
    • There can only be a maximum of 3 Wandering Eye Fish present at any moment, otherwise the Dreadnautilus will not summon any more.

Upward Bolt Charge

  • The Dreadnautilus aligns itself near the player and flies in a spiral motion, releasing a series of perpendicular red bolts along its path.

Blood Bolt Spread

  • The Dreadnautilus turns towards the player and fires out an evenly spread burst of red bolts towards them.
