The Primordial Wyrm is a Boss battled in the bottom layer of the Abyss that is intended to be fought after Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth has been defeated. It has several unique weapon drops, including the Halibut Cannon, the Eye of Madness, and the Illusioner's Reverie. It also drops the Terminus which is used to start the Boss Rush, and the Evoking Searune which can be used to summon the boss freely.

Spawn

The Primordial Wyrm does not spawn on its own, and requires the player to mine the Terminus located at the floor of the Void layer or to use the Evoking Searune to start the fight. It can also spawn in an enraged and invincible state that can one-shot the player with over 1.3 million damage if they are inflicted with Chaos State in any layer of the Abyss.

Behavior

Every four attacks in its three first phases, the Primordial Wyrm's eye color cycles through cyan, yellow and violet in that order.

When summoned, the Primordial Wyrm uses a unique spawn animation, but only when it is summoned through the Terminus; it is invulnerable during this.

  • Upon hitting the Terminus, it rises up as it was free from the rock. The Terminus glows rays of light all around it for a few seconds.
  • After enough time has passed, the Primordial Wyrm descends directly to the Terminus and snatches it.
  • The Wyrm then hovers to the top left or top right above the player, gives a threatening glare as its eyes glow before roaring.
