Biome Mimics are Hardmode minibosses that spawn in the underground Evil Biomes or the Hallow, respectively. Each of the Biome Mimics must be defeated to get the Mini-Meany! achievement.

The Corrupt Mimic is in an inactive state until it is hit by the player. It cycles through the following attacks consecutively:

Leaps

• The Corrupt Mimic leaps towards the player 4 times.

Ground Slam

• The Corrupt Mimic jumps above the player and slams down, spitting out a spread of 7 Cursed Bullets.
• It performs this attack 3 times before moving on to the next one.

Cursed Walls

• The Corrupt Mimic leaps towards the player.
• It summons 2 converging walls of Cursed Flames at the player's position.
• This attack is performed 3 times before the Corrupt Mimic moves on to the next one.

Cursed Dart Rain

• The Corrupt Mimic moves to the side of the player and spits out a spread of 3 gravity-affected Cursed Darts over the player.
• Each of the Cursed Darts rains down Cursed Bullets at intervals along their trail.
• The Corrupt Mimic fires 2 spreads of Cursed Darts before moving on to the next attack.

Chain Guillotine

• The Corrupt Mimic fires out a spread of 13 retracting Chain Guillotines from its mouth at the player.

Crimson Mimic

The Crimson Mimic is in an inactive state until it is hit by the player. It cycles through the following attacks consecutively:

Leaps

• The Crimson Mimic leaps towards the player 4 times.

Ground Slam

• The Crimson Mimic jumps above the player and slams down, spitting out a spread of 7 Ichor Bullets.
• It performs this attack 3 times before moving on to the next one.

Ichor-Dart Jumps

• The Crimson Mimic leaps towards the player, spitting out a spread of 5 Ichor Darts.
• It repeats this attack 4 times before moving on to the next one.

Life-Draining Field

• The Crimson Mimic goes still and summons a life-draining forcefield that chases the player.

Baghnakh Leap

• The Crimson Mimic summons 8 damaging Fetid Baghnakhs which rotate about itself, and leaps towards the player.
• It repeats this attack 5 times before moving on to the next one.

Hallowed Mimic

The Hallowed Mimic is in an inactive state until it is hit by the player. It cycles through the following attacks consecutively:

Leaps

• The Hallowed Mimic leaps towards the player 4 times.

Ground Slam

• The Hallowed Mimic jumps above the player and slams down, spitting out a spread of 7 Crystal Spikes.
• It performs this attack 3 times before moving on to the next one.

Crystal Spread

• The Hallowed Mimic fires out a spread of 7 long Crystal Spikes from its mouth at the player.
• It repeats this attack 3 times before moving on to the next one.

Holy Starfall

• The Hallowed Mimic goes still and summons down bursts of Holy Stars upon the player.

Knife Throw

• The Hallowed Mimic spits out a Flying Knife that chases the player in an elliptical motion.
• This attack lasts for 4.5 seconds before the Flying Knife disappears.
