The Myrindael's primary and secondary attack abilities being used against various Super Dummies.

Myrindael is a Hardmode melee weapon dropped by Argus, the Bereft Vassal.

When using its primary attack (left-click), the player swings the spear around with gradually increasing speed and then throws it. The thrown spear homes to the nearest enemy, pierces twice, ignores tiles, and summons a piercing bolt of lightning from above on hit. The spear fades out shortly after a hit and releases two electric sparks that chase enemies. It will also disappear if it does not hit anything for 4 seconds. Releasing left-click at any point during the spin animation fires two sparks with the same effects as when the spear disappears. There is no cooldown on firing the sparks.

When using its secondary attack (right-click), the player holds the spear and lunges at high speed in the direction of the cursor. The trajectory of the lunge can be aimed very slightly while traveling. Upon impact with an enemy, the player rebounds and several bolts of lightning are summoned from above the struck enemy. The lunge can be canceled prematurely by releasing right-click.

Its best modifier is Godly. It cannot get modifiers that affect size.

Notes

• The weapon only gains 33% benefit from attack speed boosts.
• Though the spear deals contact damage while spinning, its hitbox is rather small, only fitting under its swing radius.

Tips

• The lunge attack can be used as a powerful movement tool. An example is attempting the "Rampage" death wish by using the lunge as a dash.

Trivia

• This weapon is based on the spear used by the Bereft Vassal himself for some of his attacks.
