Arid Battlecry being used against a Super Dummy, with the skulls damaging the Target Dummy.

The Arid Battlecry is a Hardmode mage weapon that is dropped by Argus, the Bereft Vassal. When used, the player holds out a horn and blows it, and small sand sharks are summoned from below the cursor which fly towards enemies. When a shark strikes an enemy, it dies and emits two red skull clouds in random directions, which rapidly deal damage and dissipate after 1 second.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

• The Arid Battlecry's holdout projectile is based on the horn which the Bereft Vassal blows during his second phase transition animation.
