The Hyperplane Matrix is a post-Moon Lord item obtained by completing the The Scientific Method Dev Wish. Holding left-click causes the item to vibrate and then project a holographic control panel above itself. The control panel features six icons which are activated when left-clicked.

Abilities

Icon	Function	Description
	Toggle cybernetic immortality	Renders the player immune to all damage and knockback. This will also heal the player up to maximum health.
	Toggle physics defiance flying	Disables all of the player's normal physics and allows them to move freely in any direction.
	Accelerate time until sunrise	Advances and fast-forwards time to sunrise (4:30 AM) the following day. Freezing time using Journey Mode will advance time regardless if it is enabled.
	Accelerate time until noon	Advances and fast-forwards time to noon (12:00 PM) the current or following day. Freezing time using Journey Mode will advance time regardless if it is enabled.
	Accelerate time until sunset	Advances and fast-forwards time to dusk (7:30 PM) the current or following day. Freezing time using Journey Mode will advance time regardless if it is enabled.
	Atomize every single hostile NPC	Creates an electric explosion on top of all active enemies, dealing 20x their max health in damage. This ignores defense and damage reduction.

Using any of the item's time-accelerating abilities replaces the current background with technological noise and scrolling lines of code. This effect fades away when time acceleration is over.

Although the Hyperplane Matrix can be brought to other worlds, if the player tries to use it before Supreme Witch, Calamitas and the Exo Mechs have been defeated in the current world, it will explode and deal 500 damage to the player. The item is not consumed when it explodes.

Notes

• The item can be used freely at any point before defeating Supreme Witch, Calamitas and the Exo Mechs if the character's name is "Dominic".
• While the control panel is active, the player cannot switch items.
